Welcome to Ibo Nabo Foundation

Ibo Nabo Foundation is a nonprofit 501 (C)(3) organization founded by Emmanuel Dumay in New Jersey, with the sole purpose of providing education & healthcare development to underprivileged children in Haiti and around the world.

Why Ibo Nabo Foundation?: It is morally correct to answer the call of nature that teaches no one suffers alone, when one suffers, we all suffer. It becomes a mandate to support and care for our brothers and sisters in need.

Our Mission: Improve the quality of lives of underprivileged Haitian children and around the world who are living day after day under miserable and inhumane conditions, by providing basic necessities such as potable water.

Needs: These children are in need of Education, Health care, Food, and Clean drinking water.

Education: The Haitian population is approximately 7,000,000 people, about 1/3 are children, and only a minority of them attend some type of schooling. The ones that do attend are mostly in major cities. The children have to walk several miles to get to a local school.

Health Care: Medical care is one of the major crises in Haiti. Sick children have to travel hundreds of miles under unimaginably difficult conditions to get to a health facility, and for the most part, these facilities are poorly equipped. We were able to provide health care to more than children this year, and next year we hope to reach even more. As a matter of fact, we have saved many lives while providing basic healthcare services onsite, this is one of the reasons why a mobile medical lab and clinic is crucial.

Potable Water: Water is essential to life. Yet, 70% of the Haitian population doesn’t have access to potable water. So, this is the primary cause of so many water-borne infectious diseases. Our goal is to reduce the number of water-borne diseases next year.
